Christmas message by the Director Mbarara Regional Hospital. Mr Barigye congratulated everybody for having reached Christmas of 2021 of which was not easy due to the Pandemic.
“I want to congratulate everybody for reaching Christmas, it has not been easy since the last time when we didn’t celebrate Christmas at all.
But at least this time around we going home to do so, especially the staff at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital who have been working so hard in the second wave of COVID-19 to treat patients” he said.
He further thanked the Ministry of Health and the Permanent secretary who had visited the hospital premises during the period.
In his Christmas message, the hospital Director gave advice to all the people who were travelling back home to keep following MoH guidelines especially keeping social distance, washing hands regularly, avoiding large crowds and wearing a face mask.
He also emphasized going for vaccinations for those who had not started/finished their dose.
